Fürstlich Castell´sches Domänenamt e.K. - Germany

A wine village that is one of the oldest in Germany, the princely family in its 26th generation and a company bearing the same name: Castell. In addition to the princely Castell bank and the cultivation of forests and fields, Castell has been dedicated to wine for almost 800 years.Germany's first Silvaner vines were planted in Castell in 1659, and to this day the local grape variety is at the centre of the winery, which works according to the strict guidelines of the German VDP (Verband Deutscher Predikatsweingüter) and is one of the pioneers of the first classification in Franconia.

Its greatest potential lies in the seven VDP-classified individual vineyards with valuable soils, five of which are monopole vineyards, some of which are over 750 years old and planted with vines that are up to 50 years old. YEDİ BİLGELER - Turkey

Our wines are named after the ancient thinkers who lived in our region. 7 Bilgeler, which also has a restaurant and accommodation on site, produced its first wine in 2011. Viticulture is quite common in our region, although table grapes are produced on a larger scale. In accordance with information about soil analysis, altitude and precipitation, 7 Bilgeler restructured the winery with the appropriate grape varieties and processes. In recent years, the vineyards have been expanded to include others in Denizli. The harvest in 7 Bilgeler is done entirely by hand. All processes such as pruning and thinning of grape bunches, are also done manually. The entire fermentation process takes place in temperature-regulated stainless steel tanks. The necessary applications and their duration are determined with daily tasting and analysis. Production is an intensive and dynamic process where many decisions are made throughout the day.

Situated 850 metres above sea level, Kuzubağ estate winery was founded in the west of the Denizli-Çal plateau, near the village of Hançalar, Türkiye. With the Büyük Menderes River flowing nearby, the terroir is defined by its distinctive clay-loam and calcareous soil and the wide ranging temperatures between day and night. The grapes are grown with modern viticultural techniques; using the low yield principle, then harvested by hand before sunrise and gravity-fed processed in our winery right in the heart of the vineyards. Together, let’s drink to celebrate this land’s centuries-old winemaking heritage.
